Operating permit for technical devices used at hazardous production facilities

An operating permit is required for certain types of technical devices, including those made by foreign companies, used at hazardous production facilities located on the territory of the Russian Federation. This permit is issued by the Federal Service for Ecology, Technology and Nuclear Supervision (abbreviated – Rostechnadzor).

Main types of technical devices whose operating permits are issued by the Federal Service of Ecology, Technology and Nuclear Supervision.

The order and conditions for the issue of an operating permit are established by the "Regulation of the order of the operating permit issue for technical devices used at hazardous production facilities".

This Regulation should be strictly followed by all legal entities, regardless of their proprietary form. That applies to the entities that design, assemble, arrange, maintain, and repair the mentioned devices or use hazardous production facilities.

Operating permit is valid throughout the Russian Federation territory.
